Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Solra mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Solra is a personal safety platform that connects users with their trusted contacts (guardians) and community responders. The App provides:

You must be at least 18 years old to use Solra. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To use Solra, you must register with a valid phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

5. Emergency Services Disclaimer

Solra is not a replacement for official emergency services. In a life-threatening emergency, always call your local emergency number (122 for police, 123 for ambulance in Egypt). Solra connects you with community responders and your trusted guardians, but does not guarantee their availability or response time. We are not certified emergency responders unless specifically verified as such.

Solra offers optional premium features via subscription, managed through the Google Play Store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in your Play Store account settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. You can cancel at any time from your Play Store account.

You may post community safety reports and upload evidence during emergencies. You retain ownership of content you create. By uploading content, you grant Solra a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you post. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Solra name, logo, and all related trademarks, designs, and content are the property of Solra. You may not use our branding without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Solra does not guarantee response times, responder availability, or the outcome of any emergency situation. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or via our Delete My Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, trigger false emergencies, or engage in harmful behavior.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
