Solra ("we", "us", "our") is a personal safety platform operated from Cairo, Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Solra mobile application (the "App") and our website at solraapp.com.
This policy applies to all users of Solra. It complies with the Google Play Data Safety requirements, GDPR (where applicable), and Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

You have the right to:
| Data Type | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Account profile data | Until you delete your account |
| Emergency records | 5 years (legal compliance for safety incidents) |
| Walk history | 1 year |
| Incident reports | 2 years (community safety context) |
| Evidence recordings | Until you delete them, up to 5 years |
| Diagnostic logs | 90 days |
When you delete your account, your personal data is erased from our live database immediately, including medical profile, healthcare bookings, and any child profiles you created. Encrypted backups roll off on their normal 30-day cycle; no restore from those backups will re-create your account. Anonymized aggregate data (e.g., incident heatmaps) may be retained indefinitely for community safety purposes.
Solra accounts are for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly permit under-18s to create their own Solra account.
Family child-safety features. A parent or legal guardian with a Family-plan subscription may add a child profile to their own account for the sole purpose of the safety features they enable (for example, geofence alerts and location check-ins). In that case we process the child's first name, optional date of birth, and — while a supervised feature is active — the child's location coordinates. Legal basis: the parent's or guardian's consent under GDPR Art. 8. The parent may delete any child profile at any time from the app, which erases that child's profile, geofences, and location history immediately; deleting the parent's account does the same. Contact us at the address below with any questions or to request child-data deletion.
Solra is operated from Egypt. Your data may be stored on servers located in Europe (Railway and other infrastructure providers). By using the app, you consent to this transfer. We ensure contractual and technical safeguards are in place.
The Solra mobile app does not use cookies. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising identifiers. The Solra website uses only essential cookies needed for functionality; no tracking cookies are used.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the App at least 30 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
